To Those Who Hold Power
If you are a judge, a legislator, or a city council member, you are a minister of God. You are not a representative of “the people” in the sense that you answer to their whims. You answer to the King.
“He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God” (2 Samuel 23:3).
You have no authority to legalize murder (abortion), redefine the marriage God instituted, or permit the displacement of your own people. Your duty is to protect the good and punish the wicked. If you are a Christian magistrate, your office is an extension of your faith. You cannot be a Christian in the pew and a secularist in the chamber.
The Church expects obedience to the King. We are watching.
